The Youth Open Festival Culture (Acronym YOFECU) project aims at promoting the potential of interdisciplinary cooperation in the arts produced by young artists with disabilities. The idea is to invest in the concept of Open Festival, to create an opportunity for European comparison between integrated cultural groups and talented artists with disabilities and the ethnic minority groups within the disciplines of dance, of painting and music with relevance at the European Level. The results and the events are opened to the general public.
policy
Our project encourages creative partnerships between various organizations (schools, arts professionals, universities and community organizations in partner countries, other) this is for allow a direct and constant contact between professionals from different fields of culture (philosophy, history, science, art) and direct contact with the works of art (concerts, exhibitions, books, films) of the different countries involved in the project. The structure and elements of the educational project promoting communication and interaction of different cultural backgrounds and improve the learning, respect and appreciation of other cultures.

The main planed activities are: -support and realization of 5 Events for selection by five groups of young artists -organisation of five workshop and 5 artistic laboratories -organisation of an European Festival of different abilities -set up of database on artistic creation process -dissemination of artistic performance through modern communication technologies.

Author
The tangible results that we expect derive from the collaboration by co-organisators and will be easily assessed, they are : a) European Festival of the different abilities, b) enhancement of the image of the local areas involved; c) creation of cultural initiatives and joint marketing territories d) creation of new jobs. The intangible results will be evaluated more labored because process-oriented, they are: a) the valorization of art produced by disabled people or those belonging to ethnic minority groups, by the public and professionals; b) The reflection on the cultural exchange between European countries with a decrease of cultural bias.
